Julie has 31 years of Long Term Care experience working as an MDS Coordinator, Director of Nursing, and currently a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for Century Care Management.

Julie holds the following certifications: Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), credentialed to instruct the pathway to becoming a CDP; Board Certified Infection Preventionist (IP-BC); Board Certified in QAPI (QAPI-BC); Board Certified in Staff Development (SDC); Certified Assisted Living Nurse (CALN); Certified Director of Nursing (CDONA). Julie is also a graduate of NADONA’s Executive Fellows Leadership Academy (EFLA) and has been inaugurated into the NADONA Academy of Fellows of Certified Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care.

Julie has been a member of NADONA and NCDONA (the North Carolina Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care) for 26 years and proudly holds the office of Vice-President for both NADONA and NCDONA.

Julie is a member of the Salvation Army and a proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of two granddaughters!
