The ASCOM Program is a Certificate of Mastery Program that yields an official certificate and 13.25 contact hours for nurses. The program is a prerequisite to be eligible to sit for the NADONA Antibiotic Stewardship Specialist Board Certification. The ASCOM Program is designed to cover in-depth details of a comprehensive Antibiotic Stewardship program.

The Enduring ASCOM Program is offered online. Courses are available at any time. A Certificate of Mastery is awarded at the time of completion but no credentials or designations. To earn a credential/designation, healthcare professionals must sit for the official ASCOM board certification (AS-BC).

Requirements

  • Participants must view all six webinars.

  • Participants must pass all 6 post-tests with 80% or better and complete and submit an overall evaluation.

  • Participants must complete and submit all assignments and they must be accepted.

  • This education course expires on 6/30/2028
