Recertification for the AS-BC is every 3 years. Requirement: 50 contact hours in Infection Control (25 hours need to be ANCC accredited hours/college course are acceptable) All contact hours need to be Infection Control/Antibiotic Stewardship related. Your recertification renewal will be due on the last day of the month you originally became certified. For Example: if you became certified January 2019, you will have until January 31, 2022 to renew your certification. Please keep in mind your certification does not warrant membership!
