Recertification for the GDCN is every 3 years. Requirement: 1000 employed or volunteer hours in LTC over the past 3 years and 75 Contact Hours. – 38 CE’s need to reflect Diabetes Your recertification renewal will be due on the last day of the month you originally became certified. For Example: if you became certified January 1st, 2019, you will have until January 31, 2022 to renew your certification. Please keep in mind your certification does not warrant membership!
