Sue has worked in long term care her entire, over 40 years, nursing career. In 1991, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowling Green State University following years of work as a Nursing Assistant, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1977 and obtaining her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1981.
She held positions from Nurse Aide to Quality Assurance, Utilization Review and Director of Nursing, during this long career. Having been employed in the long term care setting since 1969, Sue spent 25 years in a long term care rehabilitation facility where the focus was wound healing therapies; Sue became Wound Care Certified in 2004, a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2009 and consults in LTC settings.
Sue is Past President of the Ohio Chapter of NADONA (ODONA). As a member of NADONA she has served on three committees Nurse Administrator of the Year, Scholarship committee, and education planning committee.
