Deborah Abshire has been in nursing for over 25 years and has performed as a Director of Nursing for the past 17 years in post-acute skilled care, long term care, hospice and home health settings. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona. Her career goal is to further her education to obtain a Masters in Health Care Administration. Deb has served as recording secretary for NADONA for the past 2 years and newly elected president for NADONA, representing the state of Arizona chapter.

Deb lives in Mesa Arizona, currently working as Director of Nursing at Wellsprings of Phoenix. She has 5 grown children, 2 dogs and 1 cat left at home (the other kids).
